On Thursday 17th October all year 14 pupils took part in the “Eye4education” assessment centre. Pupils came to school in professional dress to enhance the experience of a real interview. The day started off with the completion of an application form, which was individually tailored to the job area the pupil had chosen.

After break, the pupils took part in a challenging aptitude test, consisting of multiple choice questions testing both their Maths and English skills. The pupils completed the day by attending an individual mock interview carried out by a relevant professional.
Eye4education returned to the school in November to give feedback on how the year group performed as a whole. They said our school performed exceptionally well as a year group. The pupils benefited from this experience and gained valuable insight into what to expect in their future interviews.
