Job Advertisement – Canteen Staff
GENERAL ASSISTANT (PART TIME – PERMANENT)
Monday to Friday, 11.55 a.m. to 3.10 p.m. (15 min break)
Duties include preparing for breakfast, break and lunch, serving food, washing dishes and general kitchen tasks.
General catering experience is preferred but not essential. Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is
desirable.
GENERAL ASSISTANT (PART TIME – PERMANENT)
Wednesday to Friday, 11.55 a.m. to 3.10 p.m. (15 min break)

SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT (PART TIME – PERMANENT)
Monday to Friday, 12.00 noon to 2.30 p.m. (15 min break)
Duties include supervision of pupils during lunch time, cleaning tables and general canteen tasks.
Previous experience within a school setting is preferable.
TILL OPERATOR (PART TIME – TEMPORARY)
Monday to Friday, 12.00 noon to 2.30 p.m. (15 min break)
Duties include operating the tills during lunch breaks.
Previous experience within a school setting is preferable.
The salary for each of the above roles is £9.5049 – £9.6945 per hour. The starting point will be
determined by experience.
