The Big Bang Design & Make Competition

On Tuesday 26th June, two teams of Technology & Design students took part in a design & make competition at The Big Bang in Ulster University.

The task was to design and build a bridge across a river and then construct another bridge that could be raised to allow a tall ship to safely navigate through.

Both teams produced excellent design folders and manufactured fully working, well-made bridges. In the end Team 1 came second place overall. Well done to both teams, who worked very well under pressure and we all had a fabulous day out!
