GCSE

Music develops creativity through performance, composition, and analysis. You’ll study a range of music — from classical to pop. You’ll complete coursework in composing using Music Technology, and work on solo and ensemble performance skills, alongside a listening exam. It’s perfect for students who enjoy playing, creating and exploring music.

 

A-Level

Music nurtures your creative, analytical and problem solving talents. You’ll develop your performance skills, compose original music and deepen your understanding of musical styles, from Baroque to contemporary. The course is assessed through performance, composition and listening/analysis exams.

Music is valued for its high level creative, communication, analysis and problem solving transferable skills sought after in diverse careers including Creative Industries, Education, STEM, Digital Tech, Medical fields, Sound Production and Therapy.
