Ballymena Academy Senior Choir sing ‘Total Praise’

We may not have been able to sing for you at our Spring Concert but we have gathered the Senior Choir members still in school to record one of the pieces we would have been performing; ‘Total Praise’.

Particularly meaningful in these days, it is based on Psalm 121 – written by Richard Smallwood in a time of illness and distress, it became a song of hope and praise.

‘Lord, I will lift mine eyes to the hills
Knowing my help is coming from You
Your peace You give me in times of the storm
You are the source of my strength,
And You are the strength of my life,
I lift my hands in total praise to You
Amen’

This was to be sung at the concert especially for Mrs. Julie Connor who will be retiring as Deputy Principal later this year. It is her favourite piece from Senior Choir’s repertoire. So we leave this for her and for you with love from The Music Dept.
