Advertisement for Canteen Staff
GENERAL CATERING ASSISTANT (part-time)
11.55am to 3.10pm – Monday to Friday
Duties include washing dishes, preparing food and general kitchen tasks.
General catering experience is preferred but not essential. Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.
Applicants should have good behaviour-management skills and an understanding of children’s differing needs. Previous experience within a school setting is preferable. Applicants must be tolerant, able to work unsupervised, discreet and must be able to maintain confidentiality. It is also essential that applicants are reliable and adaptable.
The salary for the above role is £9.5049 – £9.6945 per hour. The starting point will be determined by experience.
A daily lunch allowance of £2.80 applies for each position.
