The Charity Committee is a dedicated team of Sixth Form pupils who work tirelessly throughout theyear to raise funds for various charities close to the school community and beyond.
Funds are frequently raised through events such as coffee mornings, school discos, doughnut sales, non-uniform days and sponsored events such as walks and spinathons to name but a few.
We raise money for a range of different charities and so far this year (2018-19) we have presented £4498.84 to Action MS, £4309.28 to Macmillan, £2000 to Friends of the Cancer Centre and £533 to Comic Relief.
All donations are greatly appreciated and really do make a big difference, thank you!
The Charity Committee is led by Miss Featherstone, assisted by Miss McAllister and Mrs Clarke.
Year 8 pupils took part in a Walk for MS at the end of the summer term and raised a total of £5750.95 in aid of Action MS, Northern Ireland’s Multiple Sclerosis Charity.Read more
