GCSE

ICT focuses on how technology is used in real-world applications. You’ll learn about databases, spreadsheets, communication tools, and managing digital information. The course includes both practical coursework and theory exams. ICT develops your digital literacy, problem-solving and organisation — key skills in nearly every workplace.

A-Level

A Level Digital Technology explores how data is created, stored, and protected in the digital world. You’ll study networks, databases, system development and Python programming, while also completing a project that simulates a real-world ICT solution.

A Level Computer Science is for problem-solvers, creators and thinkers. You’ll learn to write and analyse algorithms, build Python programs, understand how computers think, and develop a software solution to a real-world problem. This course strengthens logical reasoning, abstraction and system thinking. A strong maths background is recommended
