GCSE

Geography helps you understand the natural and human world around you. You’ll study rivers, coasts, weather, population and environmental issues. Fieldwork is an important part of the course, giving you practical experience of data collection and analysis. Assessment is exam-based.

A Level

A Level Geography is the study of a fast-changing world — from climate systems and coastal processes to global development and urban challenges. You’ll learn how people interact with environments, conduct fieldwork, and complete an independent investigation.

Careers

Geography builds data analysis, critical thinking and research skills that transfer across many careers, including environmental policy, planning, disaster management and more.
