Year 14 Senior CU Farewell Dinner

8th May 2019
Year 14 pupils who have enjoyed being part of Ballymena Academy Christian Union during their time at school met together for a final social evening on Monday 15th April.

Twenty three students and four staff commenced the evening with an excellent dinner at Millside Restaurant, Gracehill before moving on to 1st Ahoghill Presbyterian Church for dessert.

Former pupils, Zak Humphrey, Claire McDonald, Alice Murdock, Lauren Stevenson and a number of other Year 14s then joined this group. The 2018 leavers shared their knowledge of life beyond Ballymena Academy from the highs and lows of getting A level results, to the excitement of new courses, making new friends and fending for themselves! Current pupils appreciated their honesty, humour and wisdom as they looked forward to leaving school.

Staff involved with the Christian Union would like to express our appreciation to all Ballymena Academy pupils who have played a role in this organisation over the last seven years. You have been a real encouragement to us and we wish you God’s richest blessings as you leave, sit your examinations and look forward with excitement and anticipation to the future.

T. Bassett, J. Donnelly, C. Harris & J. McFarland
