Coleraine Academical Institution U14A XV were winners of the 2010 O’Kane Rugby Tournament held in school on Saturday, 6th March, defeating Wallace High School U14A XV in the final

Our own U14A XV made it through to the Semi-Final of the tournament where they came up against a strong, powerful Wallace side.

Winners of the O’ Kane Plate were Dalriada High School.

In presenting the O’ Kane Trophy to the CAI Captain, Mr. W.P. O’Kane commended all of the teams for maintaining a high standard of rugby throughout the day and for the level of teamwork, camaraderie and sportsmanship on display. He also thanked coaches for all their work with teams and concluded by thanking Mr. McLeister and Mr. Donnelly for their excellent organisation of the Tournament once again this year. Many thanks also go to all the mums who helped out in the Burger Bar and Sixth Form Centre.
